Rroller Coaster Ride, by S. Corbett
I've laughed, cried, gotten angry and then loved again. You have me on the roller coaster that I can hardly wait for the big dip! The characters have me wanting more and Nick is so easy to love. Great job Zanne I can't put it down. Thank you for sharing this work of art with me and keeping me in a state of panic...great writing.

Zanne Kennedy's Silent Discourse is a seven course meal for the soul. Her characters are rich with personality and capture the reader's interest immediately. Having lived near an Amish community, and enjoyed holiday dinners with the Amish, I can safely say that she has captured the spirit of their culture with amazing clarity. In my humble opinion, she is a 'word nerd' of the highest order. Please hurry with #2! I'm very interested to see what happens with Sarah and Nick.

Oh my...i would never have thought in a million years that a book could be that captivating...Zanne Kennedy makes you feel every emotion as if it were really happening...putting the book down was not an option and waiting for the sequel is even more tortuous...this is a must read and the book of 2008...thanks Zanne

I began reading Silent Discourse with a slight interest of Amish culture, but with little knowledge of their beliefs and practices. As I read further into this novel I was absorbed into a world I never knew existed. The characters enraptured my interests and surprised my expectations. I fell in love with Nicolaus from the beginning and easily found myself tangled within his sorrows and struggles. What better way to view our 'English' world than through the eyes of such sincere beauty?

Silent Discourse is a book that catches you from the first page. What an unbelievable book, I had a hard time putting it down. I can't wait until Still, Small Voice comes out. Zanne Kennedy has a hit!

Absolutely outstanding! Very captivating from the first page to the last. I cannot wait until the next book of the series! Great story flow throughout. I was very intrigued by the culture that Nicholas was raised and the reactions he had to the outside world he was thrown into. Story line in this first book was perfect to get you hooked for the entire series.

I can't say that I was a fan of the Amish, but a friend recommended this book so I decided to give it a try. I'm still not a huge fan of the Amish but the character development in this book made it worth the read, that and the intricate story lines. I would highly recommend this book and am looking forwarded to reading the next in the series.
